Supportive Yoga Classes in Hastings and Hawkes Bay
What We Offer
Circle of Yoga provides yoga classes in Hawkes Bay for people of all needs. Whether you’re interested in general Hatha yoga classes, pregnancy yoga, mums and babies yoga, teen yoga, children’s yoga, or yoga to support your sport, Rachel Chapman offers it through a number of classes.
Rachel provides several classes that include:
Hatha Yoga Circle
This class uses postures in combination with deep breathing to develop flexibility and relaxation. As a gentle yoga class, it brings calmness, connection, stress reduction, and a general feeling of well-being to the practitioner. In some classes, Yoga Nidra will be used to promote extended relaxation.
Pregnancy Yoga Circle
Promoting a nurturing experience that supports the body and mind while focusing on the breath, is the basis of the yoga for pregnancy class. It is a great tool to prepare the body for labor, while aiding it through flexibility, strength and a calmer mind. Yoga practice will teach you the valuable lesson of your role in the birth process, inspiring and empowering you to give birth with greater confidence.
Mum and Babies Yoga Circle
The post-natal period can be challenging both physically and emotionally. Rachel helps mums combine yoga while bonding with their baby in a relaxing home studio environment. The class teaches mums to reconnect with their strength, develop more energy and alleviate fatigue through reinvigorating the body. It also creates a yoga ‘sangha’ or community in which mums are able to connect and support others.
Restorative Yoga Circle
This is a gentle class that works slowly , it is receptive rather than active, giving you the chance to restore your mind and body. It is about returning balance to who you are in both physical and non physical ways. Through the practice of yoga we will gently move our bodies, connect with our breath, relax and meditate. Yoga nidra will be included some weeks to deeply relax.
